How to set restriction on EL/PL leave during the notice period in the Zoho People?

To set restriction on EL/PL leave during the notice period as per your requirement.

Please log in to Zoho People with Super Admin credentials. Please follow the below steps.

1. Please go to "Settings" to top right corner and navigate to " Employee Information" and click on it.



2. A new screen will open. Under "Extend Service" go to "Forms" and "Form name" and click on "Employee"



3. A new screen will open. Under " Employee" go to " Customization" and click on "Employee Type"
and on right a popup will show you need to "Choices" and click on filters as per the screenshot.



4. A new pop-up will open. Under Employment Type, click the “+” icon and add “Notice Period”. Then click outside the box to save and confirm the entry.


Note: When an employee apply for resignation and resignation is accepted and then you need to manually update the employment type to "Notice period" . Once updated, they will not be able to apply for EL/PL as per your requirement. Please refer to the screenshot for reference.


Note: Also, you need to update the Applicability in the leave policy for EL/PL as per the below screenshot.

Note: Accept "Notice Period" all employment need to be included in the Applicability.
